Who I am

I’m Jason–a designer, maker and dabbler in artistic practices like drawing and illustrating, printmaking, candle-making, book-binding and other similar sorts of things.

I spent years designing for others in the ad industry. I have given a lot of effort to big brands, big ideas, big-ish budgets. It looked great on paper. But somewhere along the way, I felt disconnected from what I was making and why I was making it.

I’m changing that by reclaiming my creativity through clay. It’s slow, direct, and more true to my way of thinking and making.

Now, I make objects for real life. Pieces meant to be held, used, and lived with. Not too precious, not perfect, just real.

If my work feels familiar and new at the same time, good. If it makes you pause for a second longer in your day, even better.

Make Slowly, Live Fully.
